Dear Old Navy,

I received this email today, and I must say that I am really sick of your mannequin models. I will not buy clothes based on what they look like on a piece of molded plastic. Of course your clothes are going to look good on a mannequin, but I have some news for you...REAL PEOPLE HAVE A BUTT! Not only that but the clothes have to fit over it you idiots! I'm pretty sure that this is the worst marketing idea that anyone has ever come up with and I for one am not going to shop at your store until you bring back real people! In fact I might as well say that I'm not shopping in your store until you bring back a little bit of quality. I got an Old Navy shirt for my birthday last month that was made out of fabric that had to be less than 100 thread count. I have to layer it just so that you can't see my bra through it. It is ridiculous and I think that you are cutting all the wrong corners in order to save a buck. I understand that in these hard economic times we all have to pinch a little, but I can tell you that no one is going to fall for this crap that you are trying to pull.
Signed,
P.O.ed in Utah

No kidding! When I saw those mannequins, I thought, "couldn't they help out an unemployed model?"

Sara, You are so funny! I think the commercials are so dumb too. I did get a cute skirt from there the other day, but I usually have to buy my clothes other places.Plus most of their clothes I can't wear without layering anyway.

Sorry Sara- about the shirt I gave you for your birthday, I thought you would like it. I had no idea when I bought it that it was that thin of a shirt. I hope you will still wear it. SOrry....

I agree completely however...if you are ever in Hawaii be sure to stop at Old Navy. NO ONE buys their modest clothes so it's all on the 75% off rack and you can buy a whole new summer wardrobe for pennies.

I'm not a fan of those new commercials, either. Seriously, what's with the broken finger? So dumb.
However, I did go and spend some $ and got some cute clothes with the 30% off coupon. I'm a sucker for deals.

I've got to be honest - those commercials scare me! The people look scary!
