I just got the info for the 5K on Saturday. The race will start at 7:00 am which means that you will need to be there anytime between 6:15 and 6:30 to get registered. The cost is either $5 or $6, but more likely $5 and that will cover the T-shirt and Drinks and all the prizes for the winners. I think that the race starts and ends at the park which is approximately on Center Street and 100 W in Henefer but if I'm wrong, there will be plenty of people around getting breakfast set up that they will be able to point you in the right direction. Anyway after the race is breakfast and then around 10:00 the booths open up and there is stuff to do there at the park most of the day if you want to hang around. Breakfast is about $5 a plate or they have a family rate that is like more than that (I'm not really sure, I just go there and pay whatever it costs every year). It is really tasty and I'll for sure be staying for breakfast.
Then of course there is the BBQ/Baby shower at Go-Go's around lunch time. So it is sure to be a fun filled day, I can't wait. The 4th of July is my FAVORITE day of the year!

Funny Prayers
I love to say prayers with my twins at night. Two nights ago I was in Brooklyn's room and we were saying prayers when Chris walked in. This made Brook really mad and she yelled at him to "Get out! I'm sayin' my prayers!" He didn't get out but I encouraged her to finish her prayer. She did it went something like this: Me: Please bless...
Brook: Please bless Chris to get an owie.
Me: Please bless...
Brook: Please bless me to not get an owie. Amen.
Chris on the other hand needs more help. By more help I mean that I pretty much have to tell him everything that he should pray for. That being the case, I have him ask to please bless his nursery teachers almost every night. So a couple of weeks ago after Chris and I finished up his prayers we were still folding our arms while Tyler said his. In the middle of Tyler's prayers Chris offered up some help for Tyler because he didn't remember to bless his nursery teachers. Tyler then said "Please bless my primary teachers." He thought that would be enough...but it wasn't when Tyler finished up Chris got mad at him and started a fight because Tyler didn't bless his nursery teachers. Tyler said "Chris I don't even go to nursery anymore!" He lost the fight and now every night he has to remember to "Please bless my old nursery teachers, even though I haven't been in nursery for a really long time." It makes me laugh every time I hear it.
I need some major help decorating Brooklyn's room. Anyone up to the task?

Boys!
I just came unglued on my kids. I was sitting here at the computer waiting for naptime to arrive so that I could get in the shower when Tyler showed up at the door (the boys were playing outside). He says, "Mom, I just fell in the mud!" So I very calmly reminded him that I had just finished mopping the floors and he needed to strip down outside before he came in. So he took his boots off and came in. Chris was right behind him as always but he didn't take off his boots, he walked all through the house, all over my new clean floor, and then came over to me and told me that his boots were covered in mud! And by covered in mud, I mean one big piece of mud in a nearly unrecognizable boot shape. So I told him (not so calmly) to get off my clean floor with his muddy boots and he took the long way off the floor, by touching every piece of clean tile there was between me and the farthest point of floor that he could walk on!
While I was throwing my fit about how if either of the boys ever gets close to another piece of mud again.... Chris looks me straight in the eye and yells back at me and says "I not naughty, I a boy!"
That did not make me feel better.

I was just getting Chris dressed.
C: I need those cowboy pants.
Me: Ok (As I grabbed them and a button-up plaid shirt for him to wear too)
C (as I'm getting him dressed): I got good cowboy pants, I got good cowboy shirt. Mom, you is good mom.
I love it when this happens.
